Hi, I’m Julija. I’m the founder and CEO of HIgedi, and I’m a mom who had gestational diabetes.
When I was diagnosed, I felt completely alone despite all the “resources” available. The information was clinical and confusing. The meal plans were generic and unrealistic. I had no one to talk to who truly understood what I was going through.
I spent my pregnancy wishing someone would just show me what to eat, tell me my feelings were normal, and make me feel less alone.
So after my “sugar baby” was born, I built HIgedi—the support system I wish I’d had.
Today, it’s grown into a community of over 8,000 moms supporting each other through gestational diabetes. Every day, I see women helping each other, sharing what works, and reminding each other they’re not alone.
